We wanted to share these workshop photos with you. Unfortunately, we had to discontinue doing workshops and lectures due to health concerns. During the years when we were "on the road" we met some of the most wonderful people.

Here are some photos that were sent to us or taken at different workshops and lectures. As you can see, we always had a pretty good time. Check out the wonderful quilts.

WIN!

This young man is Noah. Noah was 10 years old when he took our workshop at the Vermont Quilt Festival. When he completed his quilt he entered it into that very same show (in the adult category) the following year. Please note the “BLUE RIBBON”. “Way to go Noah”. Just a note. Remember this young man’s name. You will be hearing from him in the future.

This is Cora. Cora learned how to make this quilt in our miniature quilt workshop at “The Quilt Odyssey” show in Hershey Pa. in 2006. She was 15 at the time. She entered it in the Vermont Quilt Festival and won the coveted “Lt Governor’s” award. At the time of this workshop she was a freshman in high school. Cora is currently preparing to go to college in the fall where she will be majoring in home economics. Virginia and I wish this talented young lady only the best.

This quilt was made by Kathy Grosh from Duluth Mn. She started this quilt at the Minnesota Quilts show in our “Size Really Does Matter” workshop. She used the “jewel tones” fabric pack and did a marvelous job.

Susanne Zientarski sent us this picture. She participated in our two day workshop at the Quilters Heritage Celebration in Lancaster Pennsylvania called, “Let’s Get To The Point”. She designed the quilt with the materials we provided in our “Designing Logs” workshop. We then provided all of the quilters with the various foundations and fabric needed to complete their design. My unique construction techniques, including my “Triple Duty Seam Allowance” guide was used to complete the top. The size of the finished quilt is 29”x 29”. Susanne, you did an unbelievable job. Your creativity is notable, CONGRATULATIONS! In this class of over 20 quilters, everyone left with their own original designs on there way to becoming a quilt.
